One day VBS at Fairview Baptist Church Print E-mail

Hey, kids! Looking for a last hurrah before returning to school? Come out to Fairvew Baptist Church in Kelat for a fun filled VBS. We will be partying down with Weird Animals from 1 a.m., to 4 p.m., Saturday, August 2. You will be served lunch and at 4 p.m., we will finish the day with a cook-out and games for the whole family.

Turner Ridge Baptist Church would like to invite you and your family out to a FREE screening of "God's Not Dead" on the big screen.

Bobcat caught on camera in Pendleton County

The photo above was taken with a night vision hunting camera. It shows a pretty good-sized bobcat that was spotted in the southern portion of Pendleton County recently.

Stormtroopers appear at fair

Imperial Stormtroopers, members of the Galactic Empire from the Star Wars Universe, showed up at the Pendleton County Youth Fair this past week. They patrolled the grounds and kept the area safe for fair attendees. Both children and adults alike had many questions for them and enjoyed their visit from a galaxy, far, far away.

New sheriff’s humvee on display
