Dozens of people joined in a search for missing May's Lick farmer Roy Allen Bishop on Tuesday, July 16, but the search ended tragically with the discovery of Bishop's body around 9 p.m.

Alex Hyrczk, chief of the Buffalo Trace Search and Rescue unit, said Bishop was found in a field within close proximity to where searches had been conducted all day and into the evening. The location of Bishop's body was in a wooded area and was sighted by a Kentucky State Police helicopter near 5013 Murphysville Road. Hyrczk said the location was near a power line route.
