Wildcats reach District Championship

     A season to remember. The 2020 Pendleton County football season ended with a 39-0 loss to rival Fleming County in the 3A state playoffs. The Panthers bested the Wildcats 41-0 earlier in the season.     For the Wildcats, this game was more about pride.

Edwards Leads No. 11 Kentucky Past Belmont

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Dre'una Edwards set career highs with 27 points and 15 rebounds as No. 11 Kentucky topped Belmont 70-50 on Sunday afternoon at Memorial Coliseum. KeKe McKinney and Chasity Patterson each had 10 points for Kentucky, while Robyn Benton and Blair Green had nine points apiece.

Hagans Signs Two-Way Contract with Minnesota Timberwolves

MINNEAPOLIS – Former Kentucky men’s basketball point guard Ashton Hagans’ deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves became official Saturday. Hagans, one of the best on-ball defenders in school history, has signed a two-way contract.

No. 11 Kentucky Rolls Past Murray State in Season Opener

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Senior guard Chasity Patterson scored 30 points as the 11th-ranked Kentucky women's basketball team beat Murray State 86-60 in Wednesday's season opener at Memorial Coliseum. The 30 points were two shy of Patterson's career high of 32, set last season at Arkansas.

Allen hits corner three for first UK points

After almost 24 months of not hitting the floor in competitive action, Pendleton County native found himself checking into the Kentucky-Morehead State game at Rupp Arena. It was just a moments later that he spotted up on the right hand side of the floor and buried a three-pointer.
