Boston, Sarr on Wooden Award Watch List

LOS ANGELES – Kentucky men’s basketball players Brandon Boston Jr. and Olivier Sarr were tabbed to the John R. Wooden Award Watch List, awarded annually by the Los Angeles Athletic Club to the nation’s most outstanding player.

Rhyne Howard Named to Wooden Award Preseason Top 30

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Rhyne Howard, who was a 2019-20 Wooden Award All-American, has been named to the John R. Wooden Award Women’s Preseason Top 30 Watch List, which is comprised of 30 student-athletes who are the early front-runners for one of the most prestigious honors in college basketball.

    Jayski.com reported that Tony Kanaan will share driving duties in the #48 Honda with Jimmie Johnson for the  IndyCar season next year. Johnson will race the street and road courses while Kanaan will drive all the oval events.

Burgemeir named Coach of the Year for second year

    For the second consecutive season, Pendleton County Wildcats Head Coach has won District Coach of the Year. This award was an unprecedented triumph for not only Burgemeir, but also the coaching staff as a whole.

Wildcats reach District Championship

     A season to remember. The 2020 Pendleton County football season ended with a 39-0 loss to rival Fleming County in the 3A state playoffs. The Panthers bested the Wildcats 41-0 earlier in the season.     For the Wildcats, this game was more about pride.

Edwards Leads No. 11 Kentucky Past Belmont
