KHSAA makes tough decision on start of basketball season and dates for Sweet 16

KHSAA BOC makes a set of difficult decisions on restart of high school sports

KHSAA Sweet 16 is back on the schedule for March 29 through April 8 according to a 14-3 KHSAA Board of Control vote held today. In addition, the board reaffirmed their decision from November by a 12-5 vote to start athletic contests on January 4, 2021.

REDS MOVE CLOSER TO MINOR LEAGUE AGREEMENTS

CINCINNATI - The Cincinnati Reds have extended invitations to keep their minor league affiliates in Louisville, Chattanooga, Dayton and Daytona.             The Reds will keep their short-season teams at their Arizona League and the Dominican Summer League complexes.

Times, TV Designations Set for UK Men’s Basketball’s SEC Schedule

Television designations and tip times for all of Kentucky men’s basketball’s Southeastern Conference schedule were released by the league on Tuesday. UK will be featured on a national telecast in every game. Kentucky’s early season nonconference games were previously announced.

No. 9 Kentucky Continues Home Stretch vs. Marshall Wednesday

Following a high-scoring first quarter, the Northern Kentucky women’s basketball team dropped a 96-63 decision at Ohio State. NKU slips to 0-4, while OSU moves to 3-0 on the year. STATS LEADERS Lindsey Duvall secured a second-straight double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

No. 11 Kentucky Rallies Past No. 13 Indiana, 72-68

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 11th-ranked Kentucky women's basketball team rallied from a double-digit deficit in the fourth quarter to beat No. 13 Indiana 72-68 on Sunday at Memorial Coliseum. Kentucky outscored Indiana 28-14 in the final 10 minutes of the game.
