PCHS Tennis program unveils new home complex at Sharp

By: Stacey Myers   The PCHS Tennis program debuted their highly-anticipated new complex on April 2 that'll serve as the official home court going forward. In the 43-year history of the program, this marks the first time it's ever had an "official" home court.

By Jennifer Redden   The PCHS Competitive Cheer team competed on January 30th at ESPN in Orlando, FL in the DII National School Spirit Championships. The team placed second and received a bid for nationals in October at the Ohio Regional UCA Championships.

By Rhonda Hutchison   On January 29-30, the PCHS Bowling teams were on the lanes at the Region 5 tournament held at Bellewood Lanes.  The tournament started off with the Unified teams competition.  Each team of two bowlers bowled two baker games for seeding.

Ladycats start strong with victories over Boone County and Raceland

By Kayley Bruener  The Pendleton County Ladycats opened their 2025–26 basketball season in convincing fashion, securing back-to-back victories to begin the year 2–0.  On December 4, the team traveled to Boone County for their first regular-season matchup and returned home with a dominant 64–34 win.

By Jennifer ReddenThe 2025 KHSAA State Cross Country 2A Championship was held on November 1 at the New Horse Park in Lexington. Qualifying athletes for Pendleton County were Klaber Wolfe, Levi Wolfe, Ben Brossart, and Catalina Furman. Senior Klaber Wolfe did not compete in the meet.

By Jennifer ReddenThe PCHS Cross Country team competed in the KHSAA Region 4 Class 2A 2025 meet on Oct. 25 at Idlewild Park in Burlington. The teams competing were Bourbon County, Covington Catholic, Franklin County, Harrison County, Holmes, Lexington Catholic, Lloyd Memorial, and Pendleton County.
