By Kayley Bruener   The Pendleton County Ladycats gave a perfect performance over the holiday break, finishing 3-0 at the Pam Browning Classic hosted by Carroll County.

Ladycats start strong with victories over Boone County and Raceland

By Kayley Bruener  The Pendleton County Ladycats opened their 2025–26 basketball season in convincing fashion, securing back-to-back victories to begin the year 2–0.  On December 4, the team traveled to Boone County for their first regular-season matchup and returned home with a dominant 64–34 win.

By Jennifer ReddenThe 2025 KHSAA State Cross Country 2A Championship was held on November 1 at the New Horse Park in Lexington. Qualifying athletes for Pendleton County were Klaber Wolfe, Levi Wolfe, Ben Brossart, and Catalina Furman. Senior Klaber Wolfe did not compete in the meet.

By Jennifer ReddenThe PCHS Cross Country team competed in the KHSAA Region 4 Class 2A 2025 meet on Oct. 25 at Idlewild Park in Burlington. The teams competing were Bourbon County, Covington Catholic, Franklin County, Harrison County, Holmes, Lexington Catholic, Lloyd Memorial, and Pendleton County.

They started their season at UCA Regionals in Ohio on Oct. 26 at Olentangy High School near Columbus.The team placed second in the Small Varsity Coed Game Day division.

Wildcats soccer finishes runner-up at districts, falls to Campbell at regionals

By Sam McClanahan The 2025 soccer season has come to an end for the Pendleton County Wildcats. The team fell in a tightly-contested district championship to Mason County followed by a first round exit to Campbell County in the 10th Region Tournament.

Wildcats enter postseason with three-game winning streak

By Sam McClanahan The Pendleton County Wildcats soccer team will enter the 38th District Tournament ontheir home turf riding a three-game winning streak. The program will be seeking its first district title since 2018.Pendleton County traveled to Fleming County on October 1 and scored a 3-1 victory.

Ladycats Golf season ends at semi-state round

By Sam McClanahan Three Pendleton County Ladycats represented the program at the semi-state round held at Pendleton Hills on September 30. Despite their best efforts, the girls would fall short in making the cut to advance to the next round and their 2025 season would come to a close.

PCHS Cross Country competes in pair of meets

By Jennifer Redden The Pendleton County Cross Country team took part in a pair of meets last week. Senior Klaber Wolfe was honored at an event in Verona and the team also competed in the Colonel/Thoroughbred All Comers on October 1 in Paris.

Ladycats Golf sends three to Semi-State
