Israel (God's holy city and chosen people) is under attack. We need to be in much prayer regarding this. Matthew 8:5-13 shows us how Jesus heals the sick. He can also heal the people of Israel and stop the war if He chooses. Churches must stop worrying about numbers and be concerned with spiritual relationships with God. We are in end times and the Rapture will not be a surprise. We will hear the loud sound of the trumpet! Will you be ready?
Please remember the families of lost loved ones this week. Also our world, churches, and unspoken requests.
Butler Christ Community
Greetings friends, we welcome all to our little church.
What is my job as a Christian, you might ask? Share hope with others, praise and thank God. You don’t even have to be a pastor to do this!
We hope you have seen the shared post about our upcoming Christmas Auction. It will be Saturday, November 4th with lots of good items up to bid on! The auction begins at 7 p.m. and the barbecue dinner starts at 5:30 p.m.
Please pray with us for our sick, lonely, heart broken, sad, and grieving. Some we mentioned on Sunday were Curt Taylor, Jesse, Becky Wright, Laura, Rachel, Samantha, Anna, Allen Fleming, and Israel.
Our service starts at 11 a.m. each Sunday.

Today's message reminded us that we are "Standing in Awe of the Almighty". Standing can be a way to relay a message or to show that we are in awe of our God. Standing is a way of worship: when we pray, or when we read scripture, or when we sing. We stand to show reverence for God!
Ladies' Bible Study is October 25th, 6:30 p.m. at church.
We are having "TRUNK or TREAT" at church on October 29th, beginning at 6 p.m.
Prayer concerns include Jim McCann, Danny Flynn, Tirah Clemons, Jeanine Cox, Henry Rooney, people in Israel, Joyce Bishop, Brenda Cobb, Jim Sharp, Diane Moorhead, Gaye House Adams, Beth Bruin, Jane Bentle, Lily McCann, Troy Greene, Ricky Gillespie, Geneva Morris, shut-ins, cancer or Covid issues, and our nation.
Our sympathy goes to loved ones of Kenny Courtney, Gail Ent, and Charles Cobb.

Does It Really Matter Which “Truth” I Believe? This is the title of last Sunday’s lesson, and yes it does really matter. Only through the truth of Jesus can we experience true freedom. “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 There are so many things pulling us in so many directions, but the important part to remember is Jesus died for us, for our sins, so that we would have the ability to live in eternity with Him.
Bro. Dale led the children’s message “Take Up Your Cross” from Mark 8:27-38. There will be many shortcuts we can choose to take; Jesus didn’t take shortcuts, and neither should we.
Luke Gregg read Hebrews 9:12-14, followed by the Praise Team singing O The Blood. Bro. Dales’ message, "In Remembrance Of Me” was followed by us observing The Lord’s Supper. We were also blessed to have a profession of faith at the end of our service. God is good!
