Wildcats Football falls to Bluejackets 42-12

The Pendleton County Wildcats made their final road trip of the 2014 campaign on Friday, October 3 to face Nicholas County.  Unfortunately, the Cats were unable to pull out a win, as the host Bluejackets prevailed 42-12. The loss drops the Wildcats record to 2-5 on the season, while Nicholas County improved to 2-4. Pendleton County was shorthanded going into the game, with senior wide receiver Logan Decker still out with a leg injury, and sophomore quarterback Austin Stull was held out due to a head injury. A speedy recovery is hoped for both men. In Stull’s absence, Hunter Lea assumed the quarterback duties, and a revamped offense was unveiled.
