Wildcats drop two of three

The Pendleton County Wildcats basketball team saw its modest two-game winning streak snapped as the club fell to regional foes Bracken County and Bishop Brossart before concluding the week with a home win over Williamstown.

The Cats traveled to Brooksville on Feb. 1 looking to avenge a December home loss at the hands of the Polar Bears of Bracken County. Behind hot early first half shooting, the Cats found themselves ahead going into halftime. Sophomore Grant Walsh did a respectable job containing Polar Bears star junior, Austin Crawford during the games first 16 minutes.
