Archery coming to Pendleton County High School
The Pendleton County Board of Education approved the creation of an archery program for the 2014-15 school year and the season is poised to start. Archery is a winter sport and will run from October through February.
Phillip Sharp Middle School teacher David Myers is assuming the helm of the new program and Jason Barnes is serving as assistant coach.
They will be hosting a Archery Information meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24 in the Pendleton County High School auditorium to disseminate information and answer questions.
Each individual and their parents interested needs to attend this meeting.
Also, every archer musthave a Kentucky High School Athletic Association approved physical on file with Pendleton County High School. The approved physical form can be downloaded at www.pendleton.kyschools.us/athletics.aspx and click on forms.
