Pep rally brings out school spirit

Students at Pendleton County High School participated in a pep rally on February 23 to increase school spirit as the Ladycats and Wildcats basketball teams prepared to enter district play against the Nicholas County Blue Jackets.

This seasonal event also serves as a competition between all four grades based off of who can yell “V-I-C-T-O-R-Y” the loudest. Administrators and staff members stand in the middle of the gym to listen to each grade and must come to a consensus upon the end of the rally. Sportsmanship and participation are also taken into consideration.
