PCHS takes part in National FFA Week

“Drive Your Tractor to School Day” took place on Friday, February 26 at Pendleton County High School. Participating students sign up in advance, park their tractors in the bus loop, and are allowed to leave school a few minutes early to avoid traffic issues. The event has been around for years as part of FFA Week.

Founded in 1947, this nationally celebrated week runs from Saturday to Saturday, allows FFA to promote participation from all students, and gives members an opportunity to educate the public about the organization. It fell from February 20 to February 27 this year.
