PCHS hiring Americorps College Coach
Pendleton County High School (PCHS) will host an Americorps College Coach position for the 2015-16 school year and are accepting applications.
An Americorps College Coach assists high school students in considering and applying for college. The job involves one-on-one mentoring with students in grades 9-12 who will likely complete high school but not attend college, would be first generation college students and come from low-income families. The position lasts from September 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016.
A bachelor’s degree and excellent communication and organizational skills are required, as well as mentoring experience.
The position pays $1,210 per month in living allowance.
