Coping with handicaps

Recently I mentioned how FDR had overcome a devastating battle with polio and went on to become one of our nation’s great Presidents. We will mention in this article three other persons who have also coped well with serious handicaps. Two unfamiliar; one well known to the readers in Pendleton County.

First, Kash was the parts manager for Johnson Motors in Breathitt County. Johnson Motors was owned by my brother-in-law, Ellis Johnson. I worked for said business while a student in college one summer. I got to know Kash well.
