Quinn worked non-stop for Pendleton County Sheriff role
With a full-time job as officer for Cynthiana Police Department, father, husband and running for office, Republican Eddie Quinn was thrilled with the election results and they were based on a lot of hard work.
“I’ve been out working and knocking on doors since January,” said Quinn.
He bested Pendleton County Deputy Sheriff Todd Dennie and Brian McCann for the county’s top law enforcement spot upon the retirement of Sheriff Craig Peoples.
In the closest race of the day, Quinn had 2,340 votes with Dennie receiving 2,279 and Brian McCann had 136.
Quinn had won another tight primary in the spring outlasting three other Republicans.
Dennie expressed appreciation for all that had supported him over his 20-year career in Pendleton County law enforcement.
