The Outlook travels to Huntington, West Virginia
The Falmouth Outlook traveled to the major river port city of Huntington, West Virginia last month. Scooter Vogel rode her Harley motorcycle through the backroads, saw the city’s Farm Museum, enjoyed Riverfront Park and ate at the 20th Street Bar and Grill. Huntington is home to Marshall University, the focus of the 2006 film “We Are Marshall,” based on the true story of the rebuilding of Marshall’s football team after a tragic plane crash that killed most of the team, coaches and boosters. The city is also home to Camden Park, one of the oldest amusement parks in the country.
