Robbie J. Colemire, Sr., 90

Robbie J. Colemire,Sr.,  90, of Foster, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018, at the Care Center of Kenton Pointe in Maysville, surrounded by family.
Robbie was born on March 12, 1927 in Bracken County, a son of the late Charlie and Bessie Marksberry  Colemire.   
Robbie J. was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and he was a retired construction worker and farmer. He was a Kentucky Colonel. Robbie attended the Chapel of Praise Church in Falmouth.  
Preceding him in death were wife, Gladys Colemire on July 2, 2000; son, Charlie Colemire; granddaughter Joy Wagner; brothers, Charles and Frank Colemire; sisters, Glendola Mains, Dorthy Amyx, Ermalene Cady, and Geneva Cunningham.
Surviving him are wife, Ruth Ann Brown Colemire of Foster; daughter, Vivian Colemire of Alexandria; sons, Scotty Colemire of  Union, Robbie J. Colemire, Jr. and Danny Colemire, both of Foster; step-daughter, Kristi Jackson of Foster; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth and Billy Colemire, both of Brooksville, and Garvis Colemire of Milford.
Visitation will be at 5-8 p.m., Tuesday at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth.   
Interment will be take place at Lenoxburg Cemetery, Bracken County.
