Randall Alan Schlueter, 90

Randall Alan Schlueter, 90, of Falmouth, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at River Valley Nursing Home in Butler. 

He was born on June 3, 1926 in DeMossville, and was the son of the late Alexander and Cora Bell Burlew Schlueter. Randall and Larna Brown were married on March 20, 1952 and she survives his passing. Mr. Schlueter was a 39 year employee of the Siemen’s Company where he worked as an electrical motor assembler; a veteran of the US Army in the 101st Airborne Division; a member of the Lenoxburg Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for 60 years. He loved working on the farm, fishing, growing fruit trees to give away, and UK Wildcat Basketball. 

Preceding him in death, in addition to parents, were sister, Wilma Opal; brothers, Winston Earl and Ralph Edward Schlueter.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Larna Brown Schlueter, are children, Roger Alan (Amy Barnes)Schlueter, Falmouth, Steven Dale (Jenny) Schlueter, Falmouth, Lori Denise (Joe) Sharrow, Leeds, Ala.; sister, Beulah (Alton) Elrod, Foster; sisters-in-law, Betty and Mary Lou Schlueter; grandchildren, Kraig Schlueter, Kristan Schlueter, Chris Barnes, Peyton Barnes, Stephanie Schlueter, Drew Schlueter, Sarah Schlueter, Amy Sharrow, Joshua Sharrow, Hannah Sharrow, Maia, Sharrow; and great-grandchildren, Kora, Torie, Kellen, Harper, Stella, Lukas, and James.

Funeral services were held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth with Bro. Darryl Wilder and Bro. Fred Workman officiating. 

Interment was at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
