Candance Alane Ishmael, 55

Candace Alane Ishmael (Ramsey), 55, of Falmouth, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family and friends.

Born in Ft. Thomas, KY on January 26, 1964, she was a daughter of Frances Meenach Ramsey and the late Eugene Ramsey.

On January 28, 1995, she married Joseph Ishmael, and her dear husband survives her passing.

She loved spending time with her grandsons and family.

She had a passion for gardening, being outdoors, NASCAR, family trips, and spending time with her granddogs.

Candace was a retired warehouse supervisor of 25 years with FFR in Florence, KY.

In addition to her father, Eugene, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Jeremy Linder; her brother-in-law, Patrick Mattingly; and her mother and father-in-law, Betty and Frank Ishmael.

In addition to her hus- band of 24 years, Joe Ishmael, she is survived by her son, Dirk Bertram (Lindsey) of Foster, her daughter, Tamarah Caldwell of Taylor Mill, KY; her grandsons Kasen, Korbin, Kolton, and Karson Bertram; granddogs Abby, Aries, and Hendrix; granddog nephew Nugget; sisters Marcia Mattingly of Elizabethtown, KY and Rhonda (Jeff ) Greene of Butler; brothers Darwin (Brenda) Ramsey of Cecilia, KY and Greg (Valerie) of Falmouth; several nieces and neph- ews, great nieces and nephews; great-great nephews; two sisters-in- law, and three brothers- in-law; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth.

Interment took place in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Pendleton County.

Memorials are suggested to the Oakland Christian Church Building Fund, Hospice of Hope, the American Cancer Society, or the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
