Alma Frances Delaney Crawford, 94

Alma Frances Delaney Crawford, 94, of Falmouth, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at her home.   
Born on October 2, 1923 in Pendleton County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late John Franklin and Florine Velma Daugherty Delaney.   
On July 26, 1949, she married James Melvin Crawford, Sr., and her dear husband of 58 years preceded her in death on March 6, 2008. She was a lifelong member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Falmouth. She was the last of three graduates from the Falmouth High School Class of 1941. Alma lived her life focused on the importance of her family and her faith.
She is survived by 10 children, James M. Crawford, Jr. (Ruth Baxter) of Carrollton, Pat Hardy of Falmouth, Georgia (Dennis) Bishop of Cincinnati, OH, John T. “Brud” (Karen) Crawford of Falmouth, Tony (Sandy) Crawford of Butler, David (Jackie) Crawford and Dennis Crawford, both of Falmouth, Mary Kay Crawford of Columbus, GA, Philip (Sheila) Crawford and Bobby (Angie) Crawford, both of Brooksville; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Geneva Delaney Habermehl and Joan Delaney Faulkner, both of Falmouth, and Patricia Delaney Sellers of Vicksburg, MI; one brother, Joe Paul (Janet) Delaney of Falmouth; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jenna Lorraine Crawford; her daughter-in-law, Pamela Sue Colvin Crawford; three sisters: Mary Catherine Hetterman, Eleanor Gillespie, and Dorothy Hesler; and three brothers, John E. Delaney, Frank Delaney, and George Thomas “Tommy” Delaney.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at St. Francis Xavier Church, with Fr. Michael Norton officiating. The visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth.   
Interment will take place in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Falmouth.
