Alan Ray Redden, 67

Alan Ray Redden, 67, of Butler passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017. 

He was born in Covington on November 22, 1949, son of the late Harold and Helen Fields Redden. Alan was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church and in addition attended Pleasant Hill Christian Church Sunday night. He retired from Cincinnati Bell, farming, and was an avid tractor enthusiast.

In addition to his parents, Alan is preceded in death by his brother, Doug Redden, and sister, Norma Smith.

Alan is survived by his wife Melanie Adams Redden, children Mark (Jennifer) Redden, Brandon (Heather) Redden, Jaime (Ken) Moellman; siblings Ron (Judy), Steve (Nancy), Rick (Mary), Daryl (Jan), Robert, Shirley (Keith) Mitchell, Valorie (Greg) Ramsey, Beverly Bishop; brother-in-law, Dan Smith; grandchildren, Allison, Anna, Andrew “AJ”, Tyler, Shawn Redden, Julia, Ella, Nathan Redden, Matthew, Katherine, and Christopher Moellman.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the Peoples Funeral Home. 

Alan’s final resting place will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Butler.
