Correction on dog rescue

In the Falmouth City Council article written by Ame Vanorio in the February 17th issue of The Falmouth Outlook, it was stated that Falmouth Animal Control Officer Julie Sandy was able to retrieve and find foster homes for the dogs on Maple Avenue which belonged to the late Carletta Chaney.

While Animal Control Officer Sandy did respond to the call, she was assisted by Pendleton County Animal Control Officer Steve Johnson. Johnson took the dogs to the local animal shelter and along with volunteers who assist him, was able to find good homes for all five of the dogs that were rescued.
