By Nila Harris On Thursday, January 5, 2023, firefighters from the Northern Pendleton Fire Department attended a training and fitting for new masks and air packs received from a $153,190 grant.
The 2023 city council settles in before their first meeting, a special meeting to discuss city law enforcement takes place. The meeting lasted an hour with council hearing from city residents and a former police officer as well as other first responders before it ended.

By Carolyn Reid The first 2023 meeting of Falmouth City Council drew a standing-room-only crowd consisting of city residents, business owners, and a few interested county residents as the new council discussed the city police department in a one-hour long special meeting.
