Search & Rescue needs your help

Pendleton County Search and Rescue is an all volunteer unit fully accredited in both water and land search by the state of Kentucky. As volunteers, they are not permitted to charge anyone for their efforts in locating lost persons. Every time the volunteers are called into service they respond, knowing that for the lost person, this could easily be a matter of life and death.

Search & Rescue recently lost one of their vehicles, a Humvee, that was used to transport members and pull watercraft. This vehicle was very important and was used whenever the team got called into service.

They are now asking for your help in purchasing a new vehicle (pictured above). The cost of this truck is in the area of $22,000. If they are forced to money borrow from the county it will have to be reimbursed, making it difficult to pay for insurance and other expenses.

Members of this volunteer unit risk their lives each and every time they're called upon, never asking for anything in return. Let's show them some appreciation and help raise the money needed for this vehicle.

A gofundme account (Volunteer First Responders Need Help) has been setup for those who would like to help out. Please visit to make a donation. Thank you in advance.
