McDonald working to restore faith of veterans

Even persons of integrity can find themselves in a situation with those who lack integrity. Such was the case with Eric Shinseki, the former secretary of veterans affairs, who apologetically resigned his position on Friday, May 30, 2014.

"I can't explain the lack of integrity among some of the leaders of our healthcare facilities," Shinseki said shortly before he  ended his five-year post. "This is something I rarely encountered during my 38 years in uniform."
