Eileen Combs
Eileen Marie Combs , 90, of Falmouth, formerly of Campbell County, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020, at her home. She was born in Newport, KY on September 3, 1930, daughter of the late Jim Turner and Edith Smith Turner Roll.
Eileen was a member of Falmouth Baptist Church and a worship pianist for over 50 years at the Calvary Baptist Church in Newport, KY and Licking Valley Baptist Church in Cold Springs, KY. She taught Sunday school for many years and was active in local mission opportunities throughout her life. Eileen was also an avid bowler, enjoyed arts and crafts, especially coloring artwork to frame and gift as encouragement.
Along with her parents, Eileen is preceded in death by her husband Mitchell Combs who passed away September 15, 2012.
Surviving are her son Curt (Judith) Combs, sister Norma Souders and grandchildren Caitlin Combs, Courtney Combs-Mock and Elijah Combs.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., September 26, 2020 at the Oakland Cemetery in Grants Lick. Graveside service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home.
