‘Honky Tonk’ soars at KRT

KRTFALMOUTH — Kincaid Regional Theatre opened Ted Swindley’s “Honky Tonk Angels,” on July 10.The show follows the stories of three gutsy gals from different backgrounds at the moment they decide to take charge of their lives.

Pool shark, 12, swims with big boys

By Nila Harris FALMOUTH — Jeanna Gregg, Falmouth, has been shooting pool since she was 8 years old. Her father Gale Gregg, who also enjoys the sport, established his own pool hall to encourage Jeanna’s passion for the sport.

Falmouth ‘Urban Cowboy’ takes bull back to Texas

"Golfing Kentucky For a Cure" reaches Pendleton

By Sam McClanahanFour Trigg County men, all who share a passion for golf along with being personally affected by cancer, brought their fundraising mission to Pendleton County last week as they inch closer to achieving a goal that is over a decade in the making.
The county Fire and Rescue team focused on cleaning up a local lake in Butler, removing large items that includes a wooden boat ramp, canoe and jon boat that had been in the lake since 1989.
