The Cincinnati Reds have announced a new bag policy for the 2020 season to enhance ballpark security and expedite the screening process for entering Great American Ball Park.

The local Knights of Columbus Council along with St. Francis Xavier Church will kick off their annual Lenten Fish Fry on Friday, February 28th. The event is held in the parish hall behind the church at 202 W. 2nd Street in Falmouth.  It will continue every Friday through April 3rd.  Service hours are from 4 to 7:30 p.m.

The Ladycats battled hard and held a 32-26 advantage midway through the third quarter before Nicholas County stormed back to take the contest, 58 to 43. The Lady Blue Jackets made 15 out of 18 free throws in the fourth quarter as they held onto the lead and the Ladycats were trying to mount a furious comeback.

Legislation that would add people with state-issued personal identification cards to a pool of potential jurors passed the Senate today by a 35-0-vote.

“It will allow for a wider representation of our communities in our jury pool," said sponsor Sen. Robby Mills, R-Henderson, who introduced the legislation, known as Senate Bill 132.

It’s the most often-discussed potential rule change in high school basketball, and it’s a no-brainer.

“Police pursuit” policies would be required at law enforcement agencies statewide under a bill on its way to the Kentucky House.
