LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky wide receiver Lynn Bowden Jr. headlined a trio of Wildcats named to the 2019 Preseason Coaches All-Southeastern Conference teams, the league announced on Thursday. Bowden earned three different spots on the three teams, including as the all-purpose threat on the second team.

After a disappointing 2-8 2018 season, the Wildcats return a majority of their starters and should be on track to break the five-win plane that has eluded them.

The Pendleton County Wildcats Golf team fields a mix of veterans and newcomers this year with a collective goal in mind to steadily climb the ranks of the 10th Region.

The Pendleton County Ladycats Golf team is poised to take a step forward in 2019 as the club seeks collective improvement among a youthful group of six ladies that features just one upperclassman.

The 2019 season is marked with anticipation as Ladycat Volleyball prepares for competition. Coach Laura Buck said the team goal remains the same in that she would like to see her team compete for the district championship.

It’s Craig Chaplin’s first season back in control of the Pendleton County Cross Country team. The former Virginia Tech runner was instrumental in beginning the program back in the early 1990s. Now he has a new task: rebuilding it. Chaplin was the longtime cross-country coach.
