The Ladycats travelled to Mt. Olivet to face the Lady Black Devils at the Devil Dome in their only game of the week.
    The Ladycats were looking to get back on track after the loss to Williamstown last week and needed a solid performance.     The Ladycats didn’t disappoint as they came out with a strong start and never looked back.

While the wet fall weather continues to play havoc on the Wildcats and Ladycats soccer schedule, the boys team did sneak in a game versus Simon Kenton.
    A game that their offense led by Conner Harper, exploded in the 6-3 victory. Harper had five goals himself.

    “I was born into it,” said Roger McKinney. “I’m the son of a coal miner and the grandson of a coal miner. They were both Democrats and both pro-union.”

    For the chairperson of the Pendleton County Republican party, his life began as a Republican in the family tobacco stripping room in Peach Grove.
    Billy Matthews recalled, “Probably my first memories of politics would actually be in the stripping room on the farm. I remember by great-uncle, Jim Roseberry was magistrate.”
