On the Republican side, there were four candidates and Edwin Quinn was the top votegetter with 341 votes beating Rob Yelton with 274, Richard Tate with 90 and Darrin P. Brown with 75.

Pendleton County High School Ladycat Basketball Senior Becca Fleharty has signed with Cincinnati Christian University to continue her basketball playing days.

“I have been playing since the 5th grade and always wanted to be able to play collegiately,” said Fleharty.

The Pendleton County Joint Planning Commission held a public meeting to discuss the Application made by the Pendleton County Fiscal Court regarding text amendment to the Pendleton County Ordinance. The ordinance originated July 1, 2008 and has been twice amended.

The candidates for contested races in both the Democrat and Republican primary races were provided an opportunity to answer 5-6 questions concerning issues for the position they sought.
