What specific projects and/or bills will you be looking to sponsor and bring forth representing Pendleton County?
The priority for this session will be to pass the second year of our two-year budget.  As a member of the Appropriations and Revenue Committee, I will be helping craft a budget to present to the legislature.
Also, I am working with other legislators on legislation that will put some checks and balances on the governor when declaring an emergency and will also force the governor to work with the legislature throughout the emergency. The overall goal is to protect our economy and people’s rights during a declared emergency.  Another bill being worked on will protect people’s right to decide for themselves what medical treatment they want and prevent forced, unconstitutional, mandated vaccinations.   Personally, I am working with leaders of the Ag Committee and some Kentucky Hemp farmers on legislation that could help our hemp farmers.
What do you feel is the #1 issue that the seat you are vying for should be focused on?
The number one priority of my job is to help craft public policy and laws for the State of Kentucky and to do so, in a manner, that protects all the rights of its citizens and the people I am elected to represent.
