The things I believe we need to first continue forward with is development of housing with property values on a slight decline, but also furthering our infrastructure.
As many of our citizens know and currently struggle with is our streets. My promise to the citizens is too continue to pressure and search for answers till our streets are in pristine condition.
Second, some things I believe that need to be added to the next council’s agenda is expanding the city limits or annexing, for a city of our stature we don’t have very much industry-wise and annexing would be advantageous for those involved. The City of Butler may have something promising to offer businesses that are within a stone’s throw of the quite little town but, I believe it’s a good faith effort in a positive direction for all citizens.
Finally, this last council has made solid effort in providing what’s best for our fellow citizens and should not go without recognition; we [made] positive impacts on our communities or what we thought were valiant effort in doing so.
It’s time for us to build a city not of the past but a city dedicated to a brilliant future.
