The Pendleton County Unified Bowling Teams kicked off their season on October 24 at Bellewood Lanes.

The unified teams consist of returning bowler Jordan Ewers and newcomer Dylan Beckett. Although Ewers is a returning unified bowler he is hitting the lanes with a new partner Kyan Brewer. The second unified team consists of Dylan Beckett who is being partnered with Ladycat Maddie Crawford. Bowlers, coaches and fans alike were anxious to get the season started.

The competition started with 23 teams from various schools. Both teams, Brewer/Ewers (PC1) and Crawford/Beckett (PC2) started the night bowling two seeding games. The end of the seeding round found PC1 seeded 5th (95 & 107) and PC2 seeded 9th (115 & 73). After the seeding round, bowlers then started the head to head competition. PC1 and PC2 seeded high enough to get a bye in the first round of competition. Once the second round started the Wildcats were ready to go. PC2 dominated their first competitor Dayton 8 with a win 102-81. Not to be outdone, PC1 rolled over Dayton 5 with an easy win of 146-85 to move both Pendleton teams into the top eight. The Wildcats were hitting their stride but PC2 was unable to overcome Simon Kenton 4 losing 136-100 while PC1 kept the momentum going and eliminated Dayton 7 121-106. In the semi final round Brewer/Ewers found themselves up against Simon Kenton 4 who had just put their teammates out of the competition. Although bowling one of their best games of the night, Brewer/Ewers were unable to secure the win from Simon Kenton 4 losing 148-123.

When ask about his teams performances Coach Hutchison stated "I am thrilled at the way our teams performed. I am proud to have them as part of my team."
