College basketball season is set to tip off in the coming weeks and Dontaie Allen and his Western Kentucky Hilltoppers have been featured in numerous season preview media sessions.

Allen and New Hilltoppers head coach Steve Lutz sat down and discussed the upcoming season on the Conference USA Basketball Tipoff Show were both talked about the development of the team throughout the summer and a roster that'll feature nine new faces.

"Everyone comes in during the summer and work on getting familiar with each other. And then the goal is to figure out how do we make this work on the basketball court. Everyone has certain talents and seeing what each person is about, and now that we know each other we can be in a spot to where we can say something to one another on the court and not take it personal. It's only going to help us get better," Allen said.

It was also brought up that Allen is set to graduate in December with a degree in Sports Marketing. He said that he originally majored in Sports Communications but felt that he was better suited in this area.
