Track competes at Harrison Invitational

On April 15, the Pendleton County High School Track and Field Team participated in the Harrison County Invitational meet. The team placed  in several events in the boys, girls, and unified categories.

  The girls team earned 20 points for the team with Katie Black earning fourth place in the 100 meter dash and second place in Pole Vault. The boys team scored a total of 45 points with Evan Stewart, Lyle Stephens, Tanner Morris, and Sam Hodge placing fourth in the 4x800, Drew Metzner, Brayden Tucker, Gabe Luton, and Sam Hodge placing fifth in the 4x100, Brayden Tucker placing third in the 200 meter, Nick Black placing fifth in the 3200 meter dash, and Tyler Redden placing second in Discus and first in Shot Put.

  The Wildcat representatives of Jeffery Simpson, Shawn Redden, Dylan Beckett, Nick Black, Ruby Mullins, Jazzy Remley, Lucas Dennison, Justin Danna, and Calliope Warren all did very well in the Unified Shot Put, 2x50 meter dash, 4x100 meter dash, and long jump. This is the largest unified team that PCHS has ever had.

The next track meet will be Saturday, April 22nd at Mason County High School
