PCHS track and field

On April 1, the Pendleton County High School Track and Field team participated in their second meet of the year at Holmes High School in Covington. The PCHS boys team finished 14th out of 40 schools.
The team was led by Tyler Redden, who scored a total of ten total points, placing second in shot put and fifth in discus. The following individuals achieved personal bests including Aryanna Soden in the 800 meter, Jordan Mitchell in long jump, Brayden Tucker in the 100 and 400 meter, Tanner Morris in the 1600 and 3200 meter, Lyle Stephens in the 800 meter, Kaiden Espelage in the 800 and 3200 meter, Drew Metzner in the 200 meter and Justin Dana in discus. Dana, along with Jacob Craig and Shawn Redden, also finished with personal best scores in turbo javelin.
The next meet will be on April 15 at the Harrison County Invitational.
