Peyton Samuel Sholler, infant son of Mike and Katie Sholler, Alexandria, Ky. passed away Monday, May 21, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati.

Survivors include a brother, Patrick, Maternal grandparents; Gary and Vickie Long, Independence. Paternal grandparents; Raymond and Patty Sue Sholler, Logansport, Ind. Maternal great-grandmother, Nancy Eaton, Newport.

Services were at Cooper Funeral Home, Alexandria. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.

 

Leo Mae Chilton Hunt, 99

Leo Mae Chilton Hunt, 99 of Worthville, Ky. passed away May 22 at Union City Manor Nursing and Rehab. Center, Union City, Tenn.

Born in Henry County, October 28, 1907, she was a Homemaker and Home Caregiver to the elderly and in-firmed. Also, a member of Worthville Baptist Church being the oldest member. She served as Choir Director and active in all church activities for many years.

Preceding her in death are her husband, Elliott Owen Hunt, daughter, Charlotte Hunt, sisters; Edna Wilson, Emma Baxter, Vora Leland and Rosa Tingle. Brother, Carl Chilton, grandchild, Barbara Warner Brock and great grandchild, Ryan Brock.

Survivors include daughters; Nina Hunt Stewart, Worthville, Reba Brock, Butler, Marcella Tomlinson, Union City, Tenn., eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren.

Visitation was Friday, May 25 at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Services on May 26, at the Funeral Home. Interment held at Worthville Cemetery.

Florence McMillian, Mt. Healthy

Florence McMillian, 94, from Mt. Healthy, Ohio, formerly of Falmouth, passed away May 17, 2007 at Manor Care Health in Cincinnati. She was born in Pendleton County on November 12, 1912, daughter of the the late Fred and Minnie Simpson Vessing.

Mrs. McMillian was retired from Butler Rest Home in Butler, and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Claude McMillian, and a son, Ralph Vessing, Sr.

Survivors include a daughter, Minnie Ann Howard, Florida, three grandaughters; Cindy Howard, Jane Gossett, Jeana Windhorst; and one grandson, Ralph Vessing, Jr.; and five great grandchildren.

Visitation was held May 19, 2007 at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth, with services following. Final resting place at Gardnersville Cemetery, Pendleton County.
