Carlos Cummins, Jr., 53, of Alexandria, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008. He was employed by General Electric Evendale, Ohio. He was Past Grand Knight of Father DeJaco Council #5220 and a member of Bishop Flaget 4th Degree Knights Of Columbus Claryville, Ky. He also was a Member of Saint Mary Church Alexandria and Vice President and Road Captain of Claryville Riders Social Club.
Carlos was preceded in death by his mother, Viola Brothers Cummins; one brother, Albert Cummins; half sister, Judith Black and a half brother, Charles Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Karen (Miller) Cummins; daughters, Joliene Cummins of Alexandria and April Cummins of Ludlow;. a son, Joshua Travis Cummins of Alexandria; his father Carlos Cummins Sr. of Highland Heights; sisters, Penelope Marcum of Covington; half sister, Shirley Claypool of Brooksville.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Alexandria.

Arthur Razor Jr., 92, Ind.
Arthur Jesse Razor, Jr., 92 of New Castle, Ind., passed away November 13, 2007, at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Fla. as a result of pneumonia.
He was the son of the late Arthur Jesse Razor, Sr. and Eula Ruth McLean Razor. He attended Berea College in Berea and graduated on June 2, 1950, from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, with a Bachelor of Arts in Education.
Arthur and Catherine Virginia Comer, were united in marriage on June 2, 1944 at the Falmouth Methodist Church in Falmouth, KY. He was the son-in-law of the late Dr. B.N. and Mrs. Edna E. Comer of Falmouth. Arthur retired after teaching math, science, history, and serving as a librarian for several decades in Indiana county schools as well as in the New Castle Chrysler High School, Ind. and in the Fishers, Ind. school system. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in New Castle, Ind. He served in the Civil Conservation Corp, F.B.I., and in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was active in many organizations including the Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Ursula Grace (Basil) McCorkle of New Castle, Mable Elizabeth White and Lucy Ruth (James) McMillen, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; one brother, Earl Vincent (Dorothy) Razor of Kenosha, Wis. and one nephew, Jimmy James McCorkle of New Castle.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Catherine; two daughters, Edna Ruth (Ron) Spruill of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Dr. Catherine Pauline Marian (Christopher) Modjeski, D.D.S. of Aptos, Calif.; two sons, Arthur Nathaniel (Clair) Razor, Esq. of Dania Beach, Fla. and Sgt. Comer Vincent (Jacqueline) Razor, U.S.M.C., Ret. of Lawrenceville, Ga; six grandchildren, Ronnie Ronald Eugene Spruill, Jr. and James Arthur (LaDonna) Spruill, both of Chattanooga, Tenn; Sgt. Adam Bertis (Nickki) Razor of Ft. Lewis, Wash.; Lorelei Elaine (Danny) Dodd of Lawrenceville, Ga., Timothy Nolan Razor and Paris Michelle Razor, both of Dania Beach, Fla.; four step grandchildren, Kristel Roe Wunderlin, Keara Joy Wunderlin, Korey Steven Wunderlin, and Kasey Scott Wunderlin, all of Lawrenceville, Ga.; five great grandchildren, Ally Marie Spruill, Isaac James Spruill, Elias Jones Spruill, all of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Jared Daniel Dodd and Alexandra Elaine Dodd, both of Lawrenceville, Ga; one great grandchild to arrive in June, Lukas Vincent Razor, of Ft. Lewis, Wash.; and one step great grandchild, Suzanne Emel of Ft. Lewis, Wash; five nieces, seven nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at the Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth, with Rev. Gary Baker officiating. Special music was shared by Jacqueline Razor.
Interment took place in the Riverside Cemetery in Falmouth, with full military honors by the Hardin- Browning Post #109.

Shelby F. McKinney, 80, Fla.
Shelby F. McKinney, 80 of Trenton, Fla., passed away May 16, 2008 in Gainesville.
He was born in Connersville, Ind. to John and Lula Mae McKinney, he moved to Trenton in 1990 from Falmouth, Ky. and was a retired Quality Control Engineer. He served his country in the US Navy. He served as past post commander of American Legion Post 91, member of Loom Moose Lodge #325 and V.F.W #5625.
He is survived by his wife, Anne McKinney of Trenton; a daughter, Deborah Haag of Trenton; step son, Gerald Wayne Booker of Nicholasville, Ky; sisters, Juanita Faye Whitley and Ruth A. Woods, both of Mason Ohio; brother Elmo McKinney of Falmouth; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 23 at 11 a.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services with Pastor Alpheus Atkins officiating.
Burial took place at Joppa Baptist Cemetery in Trenton.
