Robert Groh, 81, Cincinnati
Robert Charles Groh, 81, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Friday, February 1, 2008 at Garden Park Health Care Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Robert was a retired bank teller with Federal Reserve Bank and a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army.
He is survived by four sons, Steven Groh of Falmouth, Michael Groh of Indian Hill, Ohio, David Groh of Cold Spring, and Jeff Groh of Independence; three daughters, Carolyn Vogel of Alexandria, Louise Schwarber of Bellevue and Jacqueline Schultz of Cold Spring; two sisters, Margaret (Groh) Donelan of Ft. Thomas, and Patricia Wiedeman of Southgate, and 17 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Alexandria on Tuesday, February 5, 2008.
Final resting place was Saint Mary Cemetery in Alexandria.
Genevieve McKenna, 76, Cold Spring
Genevieve M. McKenna, 76, of Cold Spring passed away, Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Highlands of Ft. Thomas.
Mrs. McKenna retired as assistant manager of Newport National Bank in Alexandria, and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Alexandria.
She is survived by her husband, Robert McKenna of Cold Spring, and step son, Mark McKenna of Alexandria, step daughter, Kimberly Ann Myers and step grandchild, Megan Myers both of Ft. Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington Street, Alexandria.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, 8246 East Main, Alexandria on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 10 a.m. Followed by internment at Saint Stephen Cemetery in Fort Thomas.

Randall Tillett, Sr., 54, California
Randall Paul Tillett, Sr., of California passed away, Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at St. Luke Hospital in Ft. Thomas.
He was a member of Persimmon Grove Baptist Church and the owner/operator of Emerald Care Nursing Home.
Randall is survived by his wife Janie Tillett, his parents George and Rachel Tillett, son, Randall Paul Tillett, Jr., of Butler, daughter Renee Lynn Caudill of Brooksville, and two grandchildren, Stacy and Alex Tillett.
He was preceded in death by a son Michael Tillett in 2007.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 8, 2008 at Persimmon Grove Baptist Church. Burial was held at the Persimmon Grove Baptist Cemetery.
Mary Kerr, 67, Cincinnati
Mary Fryman Kerr, 67, of Redmont Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 9, 2008 at her home.
Mary was born in Covington, the daughter of the late Kenzie and Helen Jenkins Fryman.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Dallas, David and Leo Fryman; sister Nellie Mae Fryman, and one grandchild.
Mary is survived by her husband John Kerr of Cincinnati, Ohio; sons, John Wayne Chambers of Covington, Mike Chambers of Cincinnati, Ohio, Preston Chambers of Indianapolis, Indiana, Joe Kerr of Cincinnati, Ohio and Joshua Bradley of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter Pamela Chambers of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers Delmer Fryman of Williamsburg and Douglas Fryman of Florence; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements at the convenience of the family, under the direction of Peoples Funeral Home in Butler.
Herman Cooper, 86, Miami, Ohio
Herman Leslie Cooper, 86, of Miami Township, Ohio (formerly of Falmouth), passed away Sunday, February 3, 2008.
Herman was the son of the late Oda and Pearl (Stephens) Cooper, and a member of Mt Carmel Baptist Church, and a United States Army World War II veteran.
He was the beloved husband of the late Zola Cooper and formerly married to Nannie Cooper, and loving father of Barbara Caskey, Bobby (Brenda) Cooper, Donny (Linda) Cooper. Caring grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Loving brother of Beulah Braden, Clyde Cooper, Evelyn Neal, Bob Cooper, and Lois Phelps all who survive him. Also survived by three stepsons, two stepdaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Herman was preceded in death by sisters, Thelma Graham and Betty Baird, and brothers, Jim Cooper and Ray Cooper.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home in Goshen, Ohio.
Final resting place was Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, Ohio.

Lucille Simpson, 87, Elsmere
Lucille Jones Simpson, 87, of Elsmere (formerly of Ft. Wright) passed away Monday, February 4, 2008 at Woodcrest Manor in Elsmere. Lucille was a homemaker and a member of Lakeside Christian Church in Lakeside Park, and a former member, Sunday school teacher and choir member of Latonia Christian Church in Latonia.
She was a past Matron of Rosebud Chapter #39 OES, a past High Priestess of Queen Esther's Court Order of the Amaranth, and a member of Covington Council #10 White Shrine of Jerusalem.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Everett W. Simpson in 1989. She is survived by daughter, Sandra L. Moore of Fort Wright, sister Jaunita King of Falmouth, and two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday February 8, 2008 at Allison and Rose Funeral Home in Taylor Mill. Eastern Star services were also held at the funeral home. Interment followed at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell.

Virginia Ann Adams, 47, Berry
Virginia Ann Adams, 47, of Berry, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2008 at her home. Born on August 23, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Anna Grace Merrill Elliott. On August 24, 1994 she married Donald Adams Jr. and her husband survives her passing. She was a member of the Pentecostal Faith.
In addition to her husband, Donald, she is survived by three children, Connie Christopher of Berry, Kellie Kells of Harrison County, and Jarrett Moore of Corinth; five grandchildren, Ricky, Brandon, Tristen, Gracie and Jordan; four brothers, Leston Elliott, Earl Elliott, Paul Elliott and Earnest Moore; two sisters, Geraldine Henson and Vicky Crawford and seven nieces and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Thomas Christopher.
Visitation will be held at Woodhead Funeral Home in Berry on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Floyd Race officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Grove Cemetery.
