"Masterpiece Mania" at Northern

Northern Elementary celebrated a school year in the Arts on April 27. "Masterpiece Mania" was a huge success displaying the Artworks of kindergarten through fifth grade students. The exhibit imitated a gallery opening by including special touches as frames Artwork, Art Labels, and entertainment. Northern Elementary students performed musical pieces, PTO served grapes, cheeses, and juice, and Becky's Flower Basket provided flower arrangements. This gave the evening an atmosphere one would find in viewing Art in a Gallery. The special event created a greater appreciation of the Arts by all. By Buffy Houchens.
