Falmouth Police make arrest in two
business burglaries
Two suspects, juveniles at the time of the burglary, were arrested on March 31, 2007 in connection with three burglaries at two local businesses.

Crozier signs with Kentucky Christian University
By Jackie Vaughn, Staff Reporter
In the past four years at Pendleton County High School, there have been many memorable moments in the school's basketball program. From a pair of incredible, winning seasons to the dawn of a new team era, one player has been through it all, paid his dues, and earned the respect of his coaches and peers along the way. That player is none other than Abram Crozier.
In front of a small gathering of family, friends, and teammates in the lobby of the high school on Monday, April 9, the senior Wildcat basketball star signed a Letter of Intent with Kentucky Christian University (K.C.U.) to continue his basketball career at the collegiate level.
"I'm really excited," said Crozier, who was voted "Most Improved Player" by his teammates this past season. "I love basketball and have dreamed about playing in college but this was really unexpected. It's a great blessing. I'd like to thank my coaches, friends, family and God for helping me get to where I'm at today."
Crozier will join Head Coach Will Shouse and the rest of the Knights basketball team in Grayson, Kentucky later this year to begin conditioning and practice.
According to Coach Shouse, the Knights have a strong returning line-up for the 2007-08 season but Abram should fit nicely into their future plans. "He's a perfect fit for us," said Shouse. "Not only is he of good Christian character but his style of basketball play is very similar to what we use. We're going to get him in the weight room and have him workout with the team. He'll learn a lot from our returning players. It should be fun to see how he'll do. He's very coachable and with good kids like Abram, you just can't go wrong. I'm looking forward to big things from him."

Send the applications back, or drop off to 230 Main St., Falmouth, KY 41040.

Three Rivers Health Department can help you stop smoking
Smokers, do you want to breathe easier this summer?
Three Rivers District Health Department can help you become a non-smoker.
There are a lot of other benefits from not smoking besides breathing easier. Your overall health begins to improve immediately. Your hair, fingers, clothes, car, and house no longer smell like a dirty ashtray. You won't even need an ashtray. You will be less likely to burn your clothes, your car seats, or your house down.
Think about this, what if you suddenly won a small lottery and knew you had over $100 of tax free money to spend every month for the rest of your life? Becoming a non-smoker is like winning that lottery. What's more, you simply cannot buy good health but you can make healthy choices.
For more information on smoking cessation classes beginning on April 22, 2007 from 5:30 to 6:30, contact Pendleton County Health Center at 654-6985.
