Blanket Creek

Scripture 1 John 5-13:15. “Yes We Know.” Bro. Greg was asked to preach a funeral of a young man. When he went to visit the family the mother ran out asking “Where is my son?” She shared with him that the last words her son said to her before he walked out the door and was killed in an automobile accident were “Why didn’t you take me to church?”  What a hard funeral that was hard to preach. But only God knows where that young man is. So please take your children to church! Please pray for the families of Bernadine Cooper, May Ann Ammerman, Teddy Hurst, Jim Hamilton, Connie Bressler and Jerry Beagle.

Sunday, Feb. 8, we were pleased to accept two new members into our church. Jeff and Erin Dupps were welcomed by everyone. Their son, Shayne, was baptized that morning as well.

Our little church family is growing. God's moving! As our District Superintendent Aaron Sherman says, we're going onward and upward. Come by anytime and pay us a visit.

Pleasant Ridge Baptist

Bro. Mark’s message was from 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Do we need healing in our land? How do we get there if we want to see this happen?

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Are you God’s people?  Has God called you? Humble yourself acknowledging your need for God. Focus on spiritual restoration.

Trinity Southern Baptist

This weekend, our church launched a new sermon series titled “Welcome to the Ransomed,” inspired by Isaiah 35:8–10 and rooted in Daniel Payne’s powerful message calling believers to live holy lives. The service was a meaningful time of worship and celebration, marked by our fourth baptism of the year and the joy of seeing one individual make a decision for salvation.

We are also excited to be hosting our 6th Annual Night to Shine this Friday, February 13th. Night to Shine is a special event honoring individuals with special needs. Our entire community is invited to be part of the celebration by lining the streets from our church to the red light and down Main Street toward the bridge. At 5:20 p.m., we’ll form a mini parade to cheer on our honored guests as they head towards Broken Arrows Farm in party buses at 5:30 p.m. We look forward to celebrating together!
