Blanket Creek
Message, “As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.” We need to do three things. Fear the Lord, serve the Lord and get rid of strange God’s.
Last week we had the privilege of ordaining Rusty Fields as a Deacon of the church and presenting Steve Carr and Doug Florer as Elders. We also welcomed two young men Liam and Declan Hall this week into the fellowship of the church by their acceptance of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. This is why VBS is so important and the gathering at Camp Northward of which they both attended representing Blanket Creek. Please keep these young boys in your prayers as well as family of Tammy Jones.

Butler Christ Community
Greetings friends, are you feeling sad or out of control, reach out to Jesus for comfort and strength. Do you need a place to find Jesus? He’s in your heart and He’s here at BCCC! Come meet with Christian friends each Sunday morning at 11!
Pastor Ron’s message on Sunday came from Luke 13:10-17. Jesus heals a woman bent over for 18 years on the Sabbath. So the Pharisees used scripture (out of context) to shame Him. He would heal the woman and then humiliate the religious leaders for the ridgit rules laid on the people. Our job as Christians is to show compassion, using Christ as our example.
On August 27 a follow up meeting for the high school ministry will be held at 6:30 p.m.
Pot luck and board meeting after services will be held on September 7.
The MT Mission truck will be here on September 29.
We welcome everyone to our friendly little church. Service each Sunday at 11 a.m.

A beautiful Lord’s Day it was! We had a great attendance, a successful “Paddling for the Pink” Silent Auction ($1,505 raised), and a moving message. The message reminded us that God is our “spiritual roof.” Without Jesus in your life, you are open to many “storms” in this life.

Bro. Mark’s message was from Matthew 10:1-8. Jesus called his 12 disciples to him and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of sickness and disease. Jesus sent them out with instruc-tions. Don’t go to the Gentiles or the Samaritans. Go to the people of Israel – God’s lost sheep. Let them know that the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure the lepers and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received. Don’t take anything with you, for those you help should feed and care for you.
Wouldn’t it be amazing to have those kinds of power? The disciples got to see these things all happen. Miracles! God will take care of you.

Trinity Southern Baptist
This past Sunday at Trinity Southern Baptist Church, we joyfully celebrated one salvation and two baptisms, bringing our total to 31 for the year—a powerful testament to God’s work in our community. We continued our “Invisible War” sermon series, diving deeper into the realities of spiritual warfare and how believers can stand firm in faith. Looking ahead, we’re excited to join together for the KBC Fall Rallies on September 22nd from 6:00–7:30 pm. All churches are invited to unite in exploring how to reach Northern Kentucky with the life-changing hope of the gospel. Let’s keep pressing forward together in Christ.

The children’s message was from Matthew 25:14-30, “Parable of the Talents.” This parable emphasizes the importance of using the talents God has given you.
Luke Gregg read John 15:5-8 followed by the Praise Team special, “Take Us to the River.” Bro. Dale’s message, “The Urgency of Discipleship: Focus on the Journey,” from Philippians 3:7-9. These verses call us to make our relationship with Jesus Christ a priority!
That’s what we witnessed Sunday evening at our river side service, the scripture revealed … that the genuineness of your faith, … may be found to praise, honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,” 1 Peter 1:7. We then had 11 individuals publicly follow their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior by being baptized. They made following Jesus a priority. Now the journey begins; discipleship – it’s not a one-time event; it’s the process of continuous spiritual growth.
