Blanket Creek
Text was from Matthew 14:3-9 and 8-23. I pray you read these each week. The message, “It’s Garden Time.” As we plant our gardens some of the seed may not go exactly where we would like it to be. The same thing is true with our spiritual garden. Sometimes we as christians fall by the wayside and weeds begin to grow. Satan loves that and will be there waiting to keep you out of church. We need to be committed or the church will be choked out. How is your spiritual garden?
Please pray for the City of Falmouth. Also the families of Martha Lou Budde Thompson, Patty Jenkins and others that have passed. Have a blessed week.

What a glorious Mother's Day we had! A full house with laughter, babies, children, old and young alike. We are thankful for a growing exciting church vibrant with preaching the Word of God and unashamed of the message of the cross.
All of our moms loved their gifts. And the message Pastor Nick preached was powerful.

We pray all mothers had a “special” day. Thanks to Jim & Sherry Fields (and Duke) for the very special program. And thank-you to our men for the great breakfast.
Bro. Kevin used II Timothy 1:5 as text reminding us that a mother’s faith is a living legacy. It endures in every season, and a mother’s love bears eternal fruit.
Remember Senior Saints Day at Camp Northward on May 15, with the program starting at 10 a.m.
After morning worship May 18, we will have a cooking class (possibly a taco bar).

Bro. Mark’s message was from Matthew 7:21-23.
Can you lose your salvation? If God knows enough to write the book of Revelations then he knows everything about us. Not all who sound religious are godly people. The question is whether they obey my Father in Heaven. Someone may argue with you saying the way to God is by faith alone. I say that good works are important too, for without good works you can’t prove whether you have faith or not, but anyone can see that I have faith by the way I act.
Romans 10:9, For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and believe in your own heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Sunday, we had a great number for Sunday school, it’s a time of small group Bible study with our peers, and there is usually good fellowship as well as a time of lifting those with needs in prayer.
In our worship service, the children’s message was "His Name Is John," from Luke 1:67-80.
Bro. Dale talked with the kids about when an angel visited Zechariah, John’s father, and told him Elizabeth, his wife, would conceive a son. He doubted the angel’s message and he remained unable to speak until his son was born. His son, John, would prepare the way for the Lord.
Callie Seedle read Hebrews 4:14-16, followed by the Praise Team singing, "He Is."
Bro. Dale’s message was, "When Our Hedge is Removed," from I Corinthians 10:13. Please read that verse this week, and know God is faithful!
We had our fifth Sunday dinner after morning worship (great fellowship), followed by the children’s Bible drill. Congratulations to Perry Gregg, she will be in the Associational Drill on Sunday, April 13.
Join us for worship, all are welcome.
