Butler — Thomas “Tom” Edwin Pettit, 71, of Butler, passed away at his home July 1, 2025.
He was born in Covington, on February 6, 1954, son of the late Raymond and Dorothy Ashcraft Pettit Brunker.
Thomas retired from Hilltop Stone, where he worked as a rock crusher. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, a passion that brought him joy throughout his life.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his wife, Patricia Pettit; and brother, Frank Pettit.
Surviving him is his lifelong partner, Tracy Jones; stepson, Brian Malone; stepdaughter, Alicia Escalante; several aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends.
Services were held Monday, July 7, 2025, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Butler.
Burial took place at Concord Cemetery.
