Falmouth — Rick J. Justice, 67, of Falmouth, passed away peacefully on October 11¸2025, surrounded by love and memories that will last a lifetime.
He was born in Falmouth on September 1, 1958, son of the late William Sr. and Veronica Instasi Justice.
Rick was a man whose strength and humor defined him – the kind of person who worked hard, loved deeply and told it like it was. Over the years, he built relationships where his sharp wit and easy smile made everyone feel like an old friend.
A true outdoorsman at heart, Rick found peace in the rhythm of hunting and fishing. He also had an eye for the past, collecting antiques and treasures that told their own stories – a reflection of how much he valued history, craftsmanship and character.
Those who knew Rick will remember a man who could make you laugh just as easily as he could teach you a lesson – a father and husband who cared deeply for his family, even if he didn’t always say it out loud.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Justice, several siblings, their five children along with numerous grand children and great-grandchildren who carry forward his grit, humor and love of life.
He will be missed but never forgotten – a husband, father, papaw and friend whose presence will always be felt in the stories he left behind.
Preceding him in death was one sibling.
Surviving him are his wife, Sheila Buckler Justice; children, Ricky (Shelley) Justice Jr., Joshua (Beth) Buckler, Jimmy (Jennifer) Justice, Tiffany Justice, Lisa (Mike) Barbour; eight siblings; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony, Timmy, Cory, Tyler Justice, Jayden McCarty, Charlie Barbour, Evangeline Buckler; 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Falmouth. Funeral services will immediately follow, also at the funeral home.
