Bracken County — Retha Hamilton Wyatt, 89, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025 in Mooresville, NC.
She was born in Bracken County, on May 28, 1935 to the late Bert and Thelma Elrod Hamilton.
She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and a lifelong farmer. Retha was actively involved in 4-H for many years, assisting numerous members with various activities.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Charles Wyatt; step-son, Richard Allen Wyatt; brothers, Richard Hamilton and Robert Hamilton.
Surviving her are her children, Tony (Marilyn) Wyatt, of Arcadia, Fla., Pamela (Kevin) Ashcraft, of Foster, Michael (Angie) Wyatt, of Mooresville, N.C., Kimberly Wyatt, of Brooksville; grandchildren, Steven Wyatt, Andrea Miller, Justin Miller, Ross Bashinski, Wyatt Bashinski, Cassandra Wyatt, Kaleb Wyatt, Logan Wyatt; step-grandchildren, Randy Wyatt, Rachel Wyatt, Beth Wyatt; and brother, Ricky Hamilton.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, in Brooksville. Funeral service will immediately follow.
Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, in Falmouth.
Memorials are suggested to Forest Hill Baptist Church.
