Cold Springs — Kenneth C. Bray, 95, of Cold Springs, formerly of Butler, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.
Kenneth was born in Butler, on March 30, 1930, son of the late Clifford and Clara Scott Bray. Kenneth was a member of Flour Creek Christian Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #220, Newport Elk Lodge #273, and Covington Moose Lodge.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his wife, Ruth Ann Morris Bray; brother, Alton Bray; sisters, Dorothy Schwartz and Maurine Shelton.
Surviving are sons, Danny (Fran) Bray, Roger (Betty) Bray; sisters, Shirley Vater, Retha Crail; also four grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 4 – 8 p.m., with an Elk Service at 7 p.m., at Peoples Funeral Home, in Butler. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home, in Butler.
Burial will take place at Butler Cemetery.
If desired, Memorials can be made to the Elks National Foundation or Flour Creek Christian Church.
