Butler — David N. Cooper, 74, of Butler, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025, at his home.
He was born in Covington on July 8, 1951, son of the late Duncan and Betty Mulloy Cooper.
David was a United States Air Force Veteran and an elder at the Butler Christian Church. He retired after 25 years as General Manager at Pittsfield and was a member of the Butler Lions Club and Pendleton County Sportsman’s Club.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was daughter, Tracy Richie.
Surviving him are his wife, Vickie Courtney Cooper; daughters, Shannon Baird, Brandy (Brian) Willenborg; brother, Michael (Janet) Cooper; sisters, Peggy Browning, Angela (Greg) Poteet; grandchildren, Phillip (Kim) Richie, Matthew (Ronni) Richie, Skye (Dylan) Baird, Logan Jones, Colton Willenborg, Jayden Jones, Courtney Baird, Jacob Baird; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler.
Burial took place at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Butler Lions Club or Butler Christian Church.
